Ace Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin continued with his love-affair with the West Indian batsmen on Day 1 of the second Test at Sabina Park, Kingston. The tall offie from Tamil Nadu finished with figures of 5 for 52 as India bundled out the hosts for a modest 196. In reply, Indian ended the day on 1 for 126, with opener KL Rahul unbeaten on 75. This was Ashwin’s 18th five-wicket haul in his Test career so far. His scalps included that of dangerous-looking Jermaine Blackwood, who threatened Team India with his brisk half-century, veteran Marlon Samuels, Shane Dowrich, skipper Jason Holder and Devendra Bishoo. With the fifth and final wicket, he took his career tally to 188 Test wickets in his 34th game.
