VIDEO: Sachin Tendulkar biopic’s first teaser is out!

The year 2016 is indeed an exciting year first with the teaser release of MS Dhoni biopic, following the trailer launch of Mohammad Azharuddin’s biopic and now the much awaited movie teaser of India‘s batting legend Sachin Tendulkar called Sachin- A billion dreams. The movie features Tendulkar himself while the teaser is also narrated by him. The teaser released on Thursday while the poster was revealed by Tendulkar on Monday. The likes of Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and Virender Sehwag shared the picture on social media. endulkar’s movie that is set to be released in around 200 theatres across the world is based on his cricket and personal life in great detail and will also feature the legend himself. As soon as the movie was out, Tendulkar made it a point to go on twitter and also shared his biopic teaser where he mentioned mentioned , “A journey made special by your support and wishes. Presenting the teaser of @SachinTheFilm http://bit.ly/SachinTeaser  #SachinTeaser.”

The movie was shot for 30 months in five countries. The last day of the shoot took place at Shivaji Park recently and it was a quite an emotional moment for producer Ravi Bhagchandka and the cast and crew as the master blaster was present himself. As soon as Sachin reached Shivaji Park, he went to the temple that he used to visit be fore going to his coach Ramakant Achrekar’s net.

Sachin Tendulkar had tweeted on Monday the poster of the movie mentioning, “Thank you for all the love and support over the years! Watch the #SRTteaseron14thApril at 1 PM on @SachinTheFilm.” This was immediately re-tweeted by his fellow team mates, Harbhajan Singh, Rohit Sharma, Virender Sehwag and Suresh Raina.

Tendulkar’s illustrious international career when he made his Test debut against Pakistan at Karachi in 1989. He was just 16 back then. An On-Day International (ODI) debut followed soon after that. In his 24-year international career he went on to play 200 Tests and 463 ODIs, which is a world record. He is also the leading run-scorer in Tests and ODIs with over 15,000 and 18,000 runs respectively. He also has the distinction of scoring 100 international tons, whch nobody has achieved till date. The Board of Control for Cricket in India  (BCCI) had organised a special series in Tendulkar’s honour against West Indies in November 2013, where he played his 199th and 200th Test.
