Video: Shane Warne spins an apple; provides leg-spin lessons

Saturday night will see Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne gear-up as they take on each other in the first Twenty20 match of the All-Star T20 series. Warne and Tendulkar currently promoting the game in the United States will captain Warne’s Warriors and Sachin’s Blasters respectively.

At CitiField in New York City, it will be the first time both cricket icons along with their star-studded teams of yesteryear, play on American soil. There are more than 20 million fans in the United States and Canada but the games popularity is still relatively unknown. It makes sense to promote the T20 version of the sport.

In a series of videos from digital financial media company The Street, first we saw Tendulkar giving lessons on how to hold a bat, and now it’s spin king Warne talking about the art of leg-spin to the New Yorkers.
