Soumya Sarkar is making quite a reputation for himself as a quality fielder. The Bangladesh fielding has not been at its best in the ICC World T20 2016 but Soumya has been exceptional, to say the least. Against Pakistan, at Eden Gardens, he displayed an impeccable presence of mind as he nabbed a blinder to dismiss Mohammad Hafeez at the boundary. ICC World T20 2016, Super 10, Pick of the Tweets: India vs Bangladesh at Bangalore

On Wednesday, the victim to Soumya’s acrobatics was Hardik Pandya. The Indian all-rounder came in to bat at No. 5 and was changing the course of the game with big hits. Batting on 15 from six, Pandya went for a pull off Al-Amin Hossain and it was a well-timed flat shot, which rocketed in the square leg region. Soumya sprinted to his left and leapt sideways, sticking his left hand out. He plucked the ball when he was parallel to the ground.

It was incredibly executed. Bangladesh did benefit from his athleticism and managed to restrict India to 146. The catch became the talking point for sure and many in the cyberspace tweeted the video on the same. Have a look:
