Sourav Ganguly and Andrew Strauss have been the legends of the game and led their team successfully in their prime. Both of them have won many matches for their side with their exquisite batting and leadership qualities.

Both the players are left-handed top order batsman, Ganguly made his debut at a tender age of 19 whereas Strauss made it to the side at 26. Ganguly played international cricket for 16 years and retired in November 2008 at the age of 36 whereas Strauss called it off at the age of 35 in August 2012.

Ganguly represented India in 113 Tests in which he scored 7212 runs at a striking average of 42.17 and a highest score of 239. Ganguly also had 16 centuries and 35 half-centuries to his name. Strauss on the other hand has played 100 Tests in which he amassed 7037 runs at a staggering average of 40.91 and a highest score of 177. Strauss has 21 centuries and 27 half-centuries in his kitty.
