India’s Test skipper Kohli finds himself on the 14th spot on the back of his good run in 2015, which saw him become the fastest to reach 1,000 Twenty20 International (T20I) runs. During this period, Kohli also reached to the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in the International Cricket Council’s (ICC’s) T20I and One-Day International (ODI) rankings.

Sitting at No. 15 is English all-rounder Stokes, who was instrumental in his team’s success this year. He was a vital cog of the team that won the Ashes and drew-level with New Zealand. He also shone in the ODI series against Australia and New Zealand. The highlight moment for him though was his 85-ball hundred at Lord’s — the fastest ever at the home of cricket. Number 16 place belongs to Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib, who has been the lynchpin of his team across formats for quite some time now. The star cricketer from the rising force in international cricket — Bangladesh — helped his team secure maiden ODI series wins over powerhouses Pakistan, India and South Africa at home this year.  The team also for the first time made it to the World Cup quarter finals, thanks to Shakib who remained the No. 1 all-rounder in ICC rankings in all the three formats. This year, he also became the youngest to reach 4,000 runs and 200 wickets in ODIs.
