Hyderabad: Mumbai came up with a fine bowling and batting display to register a comfortable six-wicket win over Services in their Group A match of the Vijay Hazare One-Day cricket tournament, here today. After bundling out Services for 151, Mumbai made short work of their chase to gallop to their target in 25.2 overs. Electing to field at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Mumbai bowlers made it count with new-ball bowler Shardul Thakur picking up four wicket. Dhawal Kulkarni, Shashank Singh and Iqbal Abdullah also chipped in with two wickets each as Services batting folded in 42.1 overs. Live Cricket Score, Vijay Hazare Trophy 2015-16, Mumbai vs Services, Group A match at Hyderabad: MUM win by 6 wickets

Opener Nakul Verma struck a patient 50, while Rajat Paliwal (41) and Saumya Swain (28) also made significant contributions as rest of the Services batsmen failed to manage double figures.

The Aditya Tare-led side then got down to business right away with opener Akhil Herwadkar top-scoring with 46 runs while in-form Shreyas Iyer also contributed a quick fire 35. Off-spinner Azaruddin Bloch bagged two wickets.

Meanwhile, Baroda outplayed Maharashtra completely in all the departments. Opener Aditya Waghmode and Deepak Jagbir Hooda struck unbeaten fifties to back up the efforts of their bowlers as Baroda outplayed Maharashtra by eight wickets in the Group C Vijay Hazare cricket match, here today.

Chasing 177 for a win at Feroz Shah Kotla, Baroda rode on a 132-run unbeaten third-wicket stand between Waghmode (77 not out) and Hooda (58 not out) to canter home in 39.3 overs.
