Vijay Hazare Trophy 2014: Mandeep Singh and Amitoze Singh bring up 50-run partnership

Punjab opener, Amitoze Singh and Mandeep Singh brought up the 50-run stand for the second wicket during the finals of the Vijay Hazare Trophy at Ahmadabad. Currently Amitoze is batting on 35 off 32 while Mandeep is on 24 off 22 as Punjab  are 66 for the loss of one after 10 overs chasing a target off 360 set by Karnataka.

Earlier, Punjab captain Harbhajan Singh won the toss and sent Karnataka into Bat , a decision he may have started to rue as early as the end of the 10^th over. Karnataka openers Mayank Agarwal and Robin Uthappa took full toll of the inconsistent Punjab Bowling, putting them to the sword.
