Soumya Swain was unbeaten on 29 off 27 balls when the winning runs were hit. For Hyderabad, batting down the order, Pagadala Naidu top-scored with a 47-ball 45, while Chama Milind made 42 off 46 deliveries to prop up the hosts towards the end after the top and middle order failed to deliver.

Services have now therefore won both their games in the tournament and will be looking to carrying on their run for the rest of the tournament. Hydrabad on the other hand are rock bottom of Group A, having lost both matches they have played in the tournament so far. Paliwal had a good run in the Ranji Trophy 2015-16 group stages and has done reasonably well in the Vijay Hazare trophy as well. Services will bank on him to put good performances in the future.
