India under-19 skipper Vijay Zol has become the highest scorer in Youth One-Day cricket. He achieved the feat during India’s match against Papua New Guinea at the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2014 in Sharjah. He scored 35 in the game.
Zol is one of the most promising and talented youngsters in the country. He has already made waves in Ranji Trophy and has in fact scored a ton on his First-Class debut last year. His prolific run continues, although he has been a bit slow to start with at the World Cup.
Zol has now surpassed Uttar Pradesh batsman Tanmay Srivastava in the list. Virat Kohli, Unmukt Chand are also a part of the top five.
