Virat Kohli becomes the only batsman in history of ODIs to score 5 or more consecutive 50-plus innings

Virat Kohli became the only player in the history of One-day International (ODI) cricket to score five or more consecutive 50-plus scores. He achieved this feat in the sixth ODI against Australia at Nagpur.

Kohli has scored 61 in the first ODI in Pune then scored a scintillating 52-ball century in Jaipur. He then scored 68 in the third ODI in Mohali and has recorded another half-century in the sixth ODI in Nagpur.

In the third ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare, Kohli scored an unbeaten 68. He was the captain back then.
