Chris Gayle started well for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Delhi Daredevils in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 game played at Bangalore. But at the right time, Rahul Shukla, the fast bowler dismissed him. It came at a time when Gayle was looking dangerous for Bangalore. His partner, Parthiv Patel has been playing well at the other end.

Once Gayle got out Delhi were able to stem the run flow to some extent. Duminy, who came back into the attack bowled a fine sixth over. He was followed up by Shukla mixing up his pace well to keep the batsmen guessing. The odd delivery he bowled quick enough and then there was that slower one to surprise the batsman.  Imran Tahir, the leg-spinner  was introduced into the attack, during the eighth over of the game.

Virat Kohli, the skipper who came into bat at No 3 struggled for timing and placement. He needs to get in before he can go after the bowling. Unfortunately for him, he was run out. It was a fine throw from Shukla to run him out. Bangalore need a good score on the board, as the deck is good for batting. The ball though, is gripping a bit for Tahir.
