Virat Kohli encourages India after defeat vs West Indies in ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup final

Virat Kohli began his International cricket career with Under-19 World Cup in 2008 and shared his grief as India Under-19 lost against West Indies Under-19 on Sunday at Bangladesh

The ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup final did not have a fair tale ending for Team India as West Indies outperformed them in all departments. Chasing only 146 after bowling India out for 145 runs, it was Keacy Carty calm and composed knock of that helped his team topple an unbeaten Indian team by 5 wickets as he remained not-out on 52* from 125 balls. West Indies won their maiden ICC Under-19 World Cup at Bangladesh on Sunday. India gave a tough fight with Mayank Dagar picking 3 for 10 balls. Every cricketer sent out heartfelt messages for India after their loss and one of the cricketer who started off his career from Under-19 cricket was Virat Kohli who tweeted over social media. Kohli who began his cricket career with Under 19 from 2008, has outshine himself in International cricket today. He is currently the top Twenty20 International (T20I) batsman after his tremendous innings against Australia. Kohli has moved ahead of Aaron Finch, who too was among the run-scorers in the recently-concluded series. Kohli scored 90 not out, 59 and 50 not out in the three T20Is, amassing 892 points to move ahead of Finch by 47. Though Finch did score 44 and 47 runs in first and second T20I matches which helped him to move ahead by 14 points, his hamstring injury in final T20I pegged him back and gave an opportunity to Kohli. Kohli was rested for Sri Lanka T20I series, which India won by 2-1 in decider match on Sunday at Visakhapatnam. Kohli will be a key batsman to vouch for in the coming T20I tournaments of Asia Cup and ICC T20 World Cup.

Kohli at the moment is under going a turmoil in his personal space with alleged break up with his love Anushka Sharma.
