Star India batsman and current Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli is in the form of his life. The current Orange cap holder though, in his one of his recent interviews told CNN about one bowler who he fears the most. With how he has gone about doing his business in the Indian Premier League (IPL) edition 9, he can spoil any bowler’s day. But the right-handed batting maestro said he feared facing one bowler, though not an active bowler. The legend in the making said, he feared Wasim Akram the most. Well, now that was a masterstroke from Kohli indeed. ALSO READ:Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kings XI Punjab, IPL 2016: Virat Kohli set to play match despite split webbing

Kohli said in the interview – “The bowler I most fear, or I would have feared if I had played [against him] would be Wasim Akram; fast and skillful.”

Kohli has been the highest run-getter in IPL 9 and has lead the team from the front. Kohli has scored 752 runs in 12 matches so far. He broke the record for most number of runs in an IPL season, which was earlier held by Chris Gayle and Michael Hussey. He has been in red-hot form, making oppositions bowlers toil in the IPL. He has scored 2 centuries as well. Kohli along with his RCB teammate AB de Villiers set the tournament on fire. Both Kohli and ABD have carried the burden of RCB’s batting on their shoulders brilliantly. RCB meanwhile, will be playing their next match against Kings XI Punjab at Bengaluru on Wednesday in must-win situation. They need to win both their remaining games in order to make it to the playoffs.
