Virat Kohli replaces MS Dhoni as wicketkeeper during India-Bangladesh 1st ODI

Virat Kohli replaced MS Dhoni as the wicketkeeper for some time during the opening One-Day International (ODI) between India and Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka on Friday. Bangladesh won the toss in the first ODI and chose to bat. They were led to a good start courtesy half-centuries by Tamim Iqbal (60 off 62 balls) and Soumya Sarkar (54 off 40), adding 102 runs for the first wicket. After a flurry of dismissals, Shakib Al Hasan (52  and Sabbir Rahman rallied during the middle overs to bolster the Bangladesh innings. India and Bangladesh play three ODIs after the only Test of the tour ended in a draw. India declared at a score of 462 for six, before bowling Bangladesh out for 256. After enforcing follow-on, Bangladesh were batting on 23 for no loss before the umpires called for stumps on the final day. A majority of the five days of play was washed out due to incessant rain.
