Virat Kohli scores 100 for India against Pakistan in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015

Virat Kohli scored his 22nd ODI century against Pakistan in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Pool B match at Adelaide on Sunday. Kohli’s ton came in quick time despite a slowish start. Kohli was lucky to survive a couple of chances, but once he got going there was no stopping him. Kohli’s hundred came off 119 balls.

Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan batted brilliantly and added 129 for the second wicket after both men got their fifties. Kohli and Dhawan came together at the fall of the early wicket of Rohit Sharma, and were reserved before cutting loose and taking on the bowlers with growing confidence. While Rohit scored 15, Dhawan was out for an attractive 73. Dhawan and Kohli’s tremendous 129-run partnership put India in complete control before the former’s untimely run-out.
