Virat Kohli scored the second century of his Twenty20 (T20) career when he scored an unbeaten 108 off 58 balls to lead Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to a sensational 7-wicket win in Match 34 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 against Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) at Bangalore. This was Kohli’s second century in four innings in IPL 9. Sadly for him the previous instance of him scoring a century resulted in a loss after Gujarat Lions (GL) managed to beat RCB. This time Kohli took no chances. LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD, Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Rising Pune Supergiants, IPL 2016, Match 35 at Bangalore

Earlier, Shane Watson played a potentially game-changing innings, scoring 36 off 13 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul had put on 94 for the opening wicket but Rahul’s dismissal for 38 was followed quickly by AB de Villiers for 1. Rahul and de Villiers both fell to Adam Zampa. Rahul was out driving in the air and getting caught by George Bailey, while de Villiers tried to loft over long off and was caught by Thisara Pereara. Watson came in with 95 runs required off 48 balls and ended up smashing 5 fours and 2 sixes in a 13-ball 36. Earlier, Ajinkya Rahane and Saurabh Tiwary scored fifties as RPS put up 191 for 6. Sadly for RPS it was not enough to stop the rampaging Kohli. LIVE CRICKET BLOG: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Rising Pune Supergiants, IPL 2016, Match 35 at Bangalore
