Star Indian cricket and one of the greatest batters of all time. Virat Kohli played a great innings against South Africa as he smashed his second century in the ODI series on Wednesday in Raipur.

Legendary Indian player Virat Kohli played a great knock against South Africa in the second ODI as well. In the first game he smashed 135 runs off 120 balls with 11 boundaries and 7 sixes.

However, in the second ODI match against South Africa, he continued his brilliant form as the star Indian player scored 102 runs off 93 balls with 7 boundaries and 2 massive sixes. In the second game, he showcased his class and calm and also some dominating shots.

After one time South Africa bowling line-up was frustrated of him as they tried each and everything but no strategy worked on Virat Kohli. With his great timing, ran between wickets and perfect judgment became a headache for their spin and pace attack.

Virat Kohli has now smashed 46 ODI centuries while batting at No.3 and achieved a record most hundreds by a player at a single position in cricket history. However, he also broke legendary player Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 45 centuries as an opening batsman in ODIs.

However, New Zealand star pacer Tim Southee also shared his take on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s about their chances to play in the 2027 ODI World Cup. “Kohli is arguably the best-ever one-day batsman, and if he’s still performing, then why not,” Southee said.

Rohit (too) scored a hundred some days ago in Australia, so they’re still performing. As long as they’re contributing to the side, I believe age is only a number,” he added.

I guess that’s their decision. If they feel like they can still do everything that’s required to play at the highest level, then why not,” .Like I said, you’ve got Virat Kohli, who’s arguably the best-ever one-day batsman to have played the game, and if he’s available for the World Cup, then I imagine they’ll want him to play.” Southee said.
