Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir reacted to the Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor, launched in retaliation to the terror attack in Pahalgam. Gambhir took to social media and shared a photo with “Operation Sindoor” written on it, captioning it “Jai Hind”

Other cricketers, including Virender Sehwag, Suresh Raina, and Aakash Chopra, also praised the Indian Army for successfully executing the operation, which targeted nine terror infrastructures across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in response to the Pahalgam attack.

Virender Sehwag took to his social media to praise the Indian Army, sharing a powerful slogan, “Dharmo Rakshati Rakshata Jai Hind ki Sena #OperationSindoor. The phrase translates to “Dharma protects those who protects it”

Former India cricketers like Suresh Raina and Aakash Chopra also hailed the Indian Army as they posted the graphics of Operation Sindoor, captioning it as ‘#opertionsindoor #jaihind’ and ‘Together we stand, Jai Hind’.

Operation Sindoor, involving the use of advanced precision-guided weapons, resulted in a well-coordinated offensive that eliminated nine terror-related sites. According to sources, Indian forces struck four key locations within Pakistan including Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Sialkot along with five additional targets located in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).

The Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force jointly carried out the operation, mobilising assets and troops. The sources revealed that the strikes on all 9 targets were successful. The Indian Army targeted top Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) leaders who are involved in sponsoring terrorist activities in India.
