Dashing Indian opener Virender Sehwag, who did not find many bidders , was finally sold to the Kings XI Punjab for Rs 3 crore 20 lakhs.

Sehwag was not retained by the Delhi Daredevils earlier, and the franchise did not offer to bid for him in the Right to Match option given by the auctioneer Richard Medley.

Sehwag had earlier said that he was not tensed ahead of the IPL 2014 auction.

“You mean tensed about how much money I will get,” he said with a wry smile, reported PTI.

“I have earned enough money and fame from the game to only think about financial aspects. I am not at all tensed about the auction or the price at which I will be bought.

“For me, what is important is to play cricket and Indian Premier League(IPL)gives me a chance to do so,” Sehwag said.
