Laxman congratulates Indian athletes for CWG

VVS Laxman, the former India cricketer, has congratulated the country’s athletes for their splendid performance in recently concluded Commonwealth Games 2014 in Glasgow, Scotland. Laxman tweeted on Tuesday, “Congratulations to all the medal winner’s at the commonwealth games. You made the entire country proud #CWG2014 (sic).”
India finished fifth at the Commonwealth games with 15 Gold medals. England finished on top with Australia finishing second, followed Canada and Scotland. India’s hockey team had won the silver. Their squash players Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal took the gold. Abhinav Bindra also won a gold.
