‘Was much better than Yuvraj’: Yograj Singh gives ASTONISHING statement

Yograj Singh, father of former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh has recently been in the headlines for his blunt statements. Yograj recently gave an interview on Unfiltered by Samdish and made several controversial remarks.

During the interview, Yograj revealed that after he was dropped from the Indian team, he wanted to kill Kapil Dev and even went to the then skipper’s house with a pistol.

Yograj also made another astonishing claim during the interview, saying that he was a better batter than his son Yuvraj.

“I was a much better batsman than Yuvraj. Yuvraj Singh, if he has worked even 10 percent like his father, he would have become a great cricketer,” Yograj said.

However, while Yuvraj is considered as one of the finest all-rounders to ever play for India, Yograj never really was able to make an impact on the international circuit, featuring in only 6 ODIs and a Test for the Indian cricket team.

Yograj had also claimed that he would have been a proud father even if Yuvraj had died from cancer and India won the World Cup.

“For our country, if Yuvraj Singh had died from cancer and had won India the World Cup, I would have been a proud father. I still am very proud of him. I have told him this over the phone as well. I wanted him to play even when he was spitting blood. I told him, ‘Don’t worry, you won’t die. Win this World Cup for India,” Yograj said.
