Jasprit Bumrah has been coming out as India’s sole warrior in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, along with being the leading wicket-taker with 30 wickets to his name so far. He has worked well with the ball in different situations, and it was just because of him that India won the first Test of the series.

Bumrah is currently leading the Indian team in the absence of Rohit Sharma, and has decided to display his talent with the bat as he has stepped up to the responsibility to score the much-needed crucial runs in the lower batting-order.

The Indian skipper came out to bat when the team was down to 148/8. He started his game with a boundary off Mitchell Starc, a shot where he got lucky. In the following order against Boland, Jasprit Bumrah hit the pacer with consecutive boundaries down the ground.

He got two boundaries off those deliveries. Boland then lost his line and length on the third delivery, as he bowled down the leg side and the ball went for four bye. This decision to hit boundaries and counterattack shows how nicely Jasprit Bumrah interprets the game.
