Peter Siddle was spotted wearing a hat while playing England’s county championship for Essex against Hampshire. The match was being played at Southampton’s Ageas Bowl, on England’s south coast and the temperature recorded there was around five degree celsius. Siddle was spotted wearing a beanie to save himself from the cold while playing.

Apart from the attire Siddle impressed the spectators with his furious fast bowling. He broke Rilee Roussow‘s bat in his second delivery and also took his wickets two balls later.

Some other players were also seen struggling with the cold temperature as Sam Cook was another wearing a woolly hat in the field. Siddle joined Essex for their 2018 season and finished with figures of 3-62 from his 29 overs as Hampshire reached 351-7.

Essex in reply finished on 300-6 as the match ended in a draw.
