Chennai Super Kings wicketkeeper-batter MS Dhoni made an impressive return to T20 cricket and reminded everyone that he has still got it. The 43-year-old performed a brilliant stumping which ended up dismissing Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Suryakumar Yadav at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday.

It was Afghanistan spinner Noor Ahmad’s delivery which created the chance, but Dhoni capitalized on it without fail. Suryakumar looked to hit a big shot against the left-arm turner by stepping out of his crease.

However, the batter ended up completely missing the ball which went straight into the hands of Dhoni, who performed a lightning-fast stumping. He gave Suryakumar no chance of getting back, dislodging the bails with his signature forward thrust.

The video of Dhoni performing the impressive stumping went viral on social media platforms where fans couldn’t help but praise the legendary India cricketer.

Meanwhile, CSK had a brilliant start to their IPL 2025 campaign as they restricted the Mumbai-based franchise to 155/9 after 20 overs. Noor was the star performer in the bowling department, picking up 4 wickets while pacer Khaleel Ahmed also picked up 3 important scalps to see MI finish on a below-par score.
