While training for the three-match ODI series between India and New Zealand, star Indian player Rishabh Pant faced an injury. However, the injury was so serious that it cost Rishabh Pant a series as he got ruled out.

The BCCI said that Pant was immediately taken for scans, and it was revealed that the wicketkeeper batter was diagnosed with a side strain (Oblique Muscle Tear) which ruled him out of the series.

“He was taken for MRI scans immediately, and the BCCI Medical Team had a detailed discussion with an expert on his clinical and radiological findings.

However, there’s one that got viral on X, where star player Rishabh Pant was suffering from pain during the net practice for ODI games against New Zealand. The saddest part of the clip was that team captain Shubman Gill and head coach Gautam Gambhir ignored Pant as it was clear that he was in deep pain.
