A lot of cricketing legends from Mumbai gathered at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday to celebrate its golden jubilee. The event featured a special segment where a lot of Mumbai cricketers, both retired and current, shared their memorable experiences at the iconic venue. Some of the renowned guests were Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Ravi Shastri, Rohit Sharma, and Ajinkya Rahane.

The stage was set with three sitting zones on the right, left, and centre sections. Upon arrival, former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri went with a seat in the left section. a few moments after that, Rohit Sharma entered, and kindly asked Shastri to move to the centre section and sit along with legend Sunil Gavaskar.

This small loving gesture by Rohit did not go unnoticed on social media as fans were quick to praise his thought process for his seniors.

Since he has bought two ICC trophies to the Wankhede Stadium- the 2007 T20 World Cup as a member of the team, and the 2024 T20 World Cup as skipper, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has promised that his team will do their best to bring the upcoming 2025 Champions Trophy at the venue for another round of celebration.
