Coldplay mentions Bumrah wanting to play with him
Chris Martin of Coldplay decided to surprise his fans on January 18 at the event in Navi Mumbai, as he praised India’s superstar pacer Jasprit Bumrah. on Sundya, Martin performed one of his most known songs “A Sky Full of Stars“, where the audience also joined in, that made an amazing view for the spectators.
During the performance, Chris suddenly stopped to inform the audience that they would have to stop the performance in a short while as Bumrah wanted to join him backstage to play cricket. The Coldplay singer joked that the Indian pacer wanted to bowl him.
“Hold on, we have to finish the show because Jasprit Bumrah wants to come and play backstage,” said Martin.
“He (Bumrah) says he needs to bowl at me now,” he added.
When Bumrah was mentioned, the whole crowd abruptly became excited as they thought the Indian pacer might appear on the stage during the performance. However, that was not the case.
As Chris Martin hyped the audience and even talked to them in Hindi, the concert in Mumbai was an amazing experience for fans without a doubt. The thrill of that evening was increased by several folds after Bumrah got the shoutout.
