West Indies fully dominated in their first match with an all-round performance. South Africa managed to put up a total of 188 runs with the help of Rilee Rossouw’s 61. No one else failed to shine in front of a West Indies bowling that consisted of Sunil Narine. Narine took 6 wickets for 27 runs with an economy of 2.74. Chasing the target, the hosts got a decent start from Johnson Charles and Darren Bravo while it was Kieron Pollard’s run-a-ball 67 that led them to a 4-wicket win.

Australia played their last One-Day International (ODI) against New Zealand at the latter’s home. Australia lost the series 2-1 and would like to win this one and improve their form in limited-overs format. A big plus for the team is Mitchell Starc’s comeback to the side after his long trail of injury. David Warner is also in a very good form which was reflected in his performance in Indian Premier League (IPL). With both the teams in good form, the match is expected to be a cracker.
