Gary Ballance became the third fastest player from England to score 1,000 runs in Tests. Ballance achieved this feat during half-century against West Indies in the second Test at Grenada. Ballance achieved this feat in his 17th innings. Ballance has four centuries and as many half-century in Tests. He made his debut against Australia in 2014 and has been an integral part of the England setup ever since. Ballance has an excellent conversion rate and the 25-year old will look to achieve many more milestones as he progresses in his career.
