West Indies skipper Dwayne Bravo won the toss and elected to field against Sri Lanka in the first One-Day International at Kingston. This is the first match of the triseries, also involving MS Dhoni-led Indian side.

Bravo, who is the highest wicket-taker in the Caribbean, will hope to lead his side from the front and take a win from the first match. As for Sri Lanka, this series will be a good time for Angelo Mathews to showcase his skills as a leader of a team in transition with the likes of Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene in the twilight of their careers.
