West Indies vs Sri Lanka 5th tri-series match delayed due to rain

Rain stopped play in the crucial One-Day International match between West Indies and Sri Lanka in the tri-nation series in Port of Spain in Trinidad on Sunday.

Sri Lanka were 60 for three in 19 overs after being sent into bat by the West Indies when the heavens opened up. Lahiru Thirimanne (13) and Kumar Sangakkara (11) were at the crease.

Kieron Pollard took charge of the West Indies side in place Dwayne Bravo, who was suspended for slow rate by his team in the previous match against India.

West Indies made three changes from the side that lost to India. Devon Smith, Jason Holder and Lendl Simmons were included in the team in place of Dwayne Bravo, Sunil Narine and Denesh Ramdin.

Jeevan Mendis and Shaminda Eranga replaced Rangana Herath and Kusal Perera in the Sri Lankan team.
