West Indies won the toss and elected to bat against Australia in the one-off Twenty20 International at Brisbane on Wednesday.
Australia won the ODI series against West Indies 5-0 and will be looking to win the only T20 before heading towards India, where they play the hosts Test series.
Ben Rohrer, Nathan Coulter-Nile and Josh Hazlewood will be making their T20 debut for Australia.
Chris Gayle is back in the team for West Indies.
