When wicketkeeper Jonny Bairtsow sprinted, beat slip fielders in the race, swirled in bid to save a boundary

One just cannot keep English wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow out of action as his good form has helped him to scale his game to newer heights. In the recently concluded Test series against Sri Lanka at home, Bairstow played with immense confidence and scored some big runs in crunch situations. In the third Test at Lord’s, Bairstow plundered an unbeaten 167 in the first innings and played a good hand of 32 in the second. In the video below, Bairstow is seen swirling a wheel in order to save a certain boundary, which is a testament his confidence being bolstered. It was a thick edge, which was charging towards the boundary but Bairstow did not give up the chase and saved few runs for his side. The interesting part was, despite being a wicketkeeper he got steamed in and beat the slip fielders to get the ball back within the boundary.
