Steady start for Supernovas chasing a low-scoring total. They know that partnerships here will win matches. It’s a slow pitch, the ball isn’t coming on to the bat as expected but the players have done well to keep the scoreboard ticking.

OUT! Suzie’s long stand in the crease comes to end. Perry bowls a yorker length slower ball and Suzie trying to play it behind misses it completely as the bails behind are disturbed.

OUT! We have seen Devine drop a sitter and now Perry take a brilliant diving forward catch to dismiss Jemimah for 25 off Anuja Patil’s bowling. The wicket has come at the right time for Supernovas as Jemimah had started extending her arms.

The partnership between Bates and Jemimah is building here. It is above 30 at the moment and the sloppy fielding from Supernovas is helping them as well. Trailblazers in search of wickets here,

She let out not many but some secrets of New Zealand dressing room.

Harmanpreet Kaur: We are going to bowl first. Wicket is looking good to bat on but there is some grass on the wicket. So we want to make use of that in the first six overs. It is a great moment for us, we were waiting for this for the last 10 years. Finally, the day has come we are looking to enjoy this moment. Meg Lanning is a very funny girl, she shared some thoughts on batting in the nets. It is great to share dressing room with her. It is good for us as only 2 or 3 girls were playing Big Bash.
