According to reports, the World Cup organizers have decided to sell the online tickets of knockout matches through online lottery method after the crash of official ticketing website Kyazoonga on Monday.

The organizers are now chalking out exact schedule and details wherein the fans will be putting names into the ballot on Kyazoonga.com to obtain the tickets.

“This way at least many people will have a chance to get the tickets,” Ratnakar Shetty, the tournament director, told Times of India.

Kyazoonga stated that a lottery system was suggested during the start of the tournament as a way of ticket distribution, but the idea was rejected. But on Monday, the portal crashed as there were 500,000 users trying to buy tickets for the World Cup final. Of the 4000 tickets that are up for sale, only 1000 would be available online.
