The player auction for the fourth season of the Women’s Premier League is taking place today, Thursday, November 27. Before the auction began, league chairman Jayesh George announced the start date of the new season. He confirmed that the first match will be played on January 9, and the final will take place on February 5. This season, all matches will be hosted at two venues: DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai and the stadium in Vadodara.
