Indian skipper Rohit Sharma did not hide his frustration as Yashasvi Jaiswal was playing loosely in the field and dropped three catches. Rohit shouted as Jaiswal dropped Marnus Labuschagne’s catch in slip side. Since Rohit expressed his disappointment, it did not sit well with former Australian cricketer-turned-commentator Michael Hussey as he said that it is not good behaviour as a captain.
âIâve got to be honest, I donât like that reaction from the Indian skipper. I appreciate heâs emotional, and he desperately wants wickets, but youâre the one who has to send the message of calm and support. No-one means to drop a catch. Heâs gonna feel bad enough as it is for putting a catch down, especially someone like Marnus Labuschagne, it happens quickly, itâs in, itâs out. You donât need to see that as a young player,” Hussey said on Fox Sports.Â

Rohit had earlier decided to not play at no. 6 and open the innings along with Jaiswal. This move did not work well as he got surprisingly dismissed by Pat Cummins. Rohit had scored just 22 runs from four innings in the series.
Jaiswal on the other hand, made a comeback with the bat after he struggled against Mitchell Starc. He scored a half-century and shared a partnership of 102 runs for the third wicket with Virat Kohli. However, Jaiswal got run-out after he got in a mix-up with Kohli, which led to his wicket.
