Younis Khan becomes seventh Pakistan player to score 7,000 runs in ODIs

Former Pakistan skipper Younis Khan became the seventh Pakistani player to cross 7,000-run mark in ODIs during the fifth ODI against South Africa at Benoni on Sunday.

Younis scored his 7,000th run by playing the ball towards square leg and taking a single off Robin Peterson.

Younis had a decent run during the Test series in South Africa, scoring 184 runs in three Tests. His highest score during the series was 111.

He started well in the fifth ODI but fell in the 26th over when he gave a catch to Hashim Amla off Farhaan Beherdien.
