Pakistan veteran batsman, Younis Khan was dismissed for 38 after being caught by Alastair Cook at silly mid on off Stuart Broad on Day 1 of the first of the three-match Test series against England at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. He also became the highest run scorer in Tests for Pakistan at the score of 18. Currently, Pakistan are 247 for the loss of three wickets in 71 overs with Shoaib Malik on 102 and Misbah-ul-Haq coming in. Earlier, Pakistan skipper, Misbah ul Haq won the toss and elected to bat first as Pakistan went in with five specialist bowlers. As AFP reports, Hafeez and Malik, unbeaten on 72 at tea, added 168 for the second wicket to bolster Pakistan’s innings after Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and decided to bat. Malik, playing his first Test for five years, also had a reprieve when on 40 he was caught in the gully off paceman Stuart Broad only to see umpire signalling a no-ball. He has so far knocked eight boundaries in his ninth Test fifty, his first against England in five Tests. Earlier, Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik helped Pakistan reach 82 for 1 against England at lunch on Day One of the first Test at Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
