Pakistan’s middle-order batsman Younis Khan pleaded to his fans to pray for his nephew so that her soul rest in peace. Younis had to fly back home while Pakistan was touring Sri Lanka, as soon as he received the news of his nephews’ demise.

Younis was in a state of shock while he expressed his feelings, “I loved my nephew a lot. He was a son of my brother Shaheed Khan. He was best treated in India but destiny was not in our favour and he could not survive,” reported Pakistan Observer.

He further added, “Perhaps in Pakistan the diagnosis for his liver transplant could not be made at an early stage with a result we have lost the boy”. Please pray for his soul.”

The eight year kid Saad Khan was brought in a critical condition to Gurgaon’s Meadanta Hospital on August 18, 2014. Dr. Neelam Mohan said, “We had told the parents to bring this boy in June. Had the boy been brought two months earlier, he would have 100 % recovered.”

She further added, “He was brought in a very critical condition and the infection was spreaded in lungs and other parts of the body, hence I could not perform liver transplant surgery on him. Even heavy dosages of anti-biotics could not help him recover.”

She believes, “The boy was accompanied by his parents and the mother was to donate the part of the liver. We wonder why the visa formalities of this boy, who is coming from a high profile family (uncle national cricketer) was delayed.” She feels, “People should be aware about the consequences of the liver diseases and should act immediately.”  She expressed her condolence as she could not save the boy.
