India all rounder Yuvraj Singh wants the fans to inspire the national team, when they take on arch rivals Pakistan on Wednesday in the second semi-final of the 2011 World Cup, in Mohali.

Yuvraj tweeted: “All dear ones in the stadium tomorrow! Pl inspire us by singing our national anthem loudly jai hind goodnight.”

India and Pakistan meet on Indian soil for the first time in more than two year following 26/11 militant attack on Mumbai.

India has never lost to Pakistan in World Cups winning all the four matches played between them. The last time they met in World Cup was in 2003 at Centurion, India won the match by six wickets aided largely by Sachin Tendulkar’s blistering 98 off 75 balls.

The winner of the clash will meet Sri Lanka in the final at Wankhed Stadium, Mumbai on April 2.      Â
