The inaugural ICC World Twenty20 Championship in South Africa brings us back the memories of Yuvraj Singh launching an onslaught on Stuart Broad. His six sixes are etched in an Indian fan’s heart forever.

Yuvraj’s feat of plundering six sixes in an over has been achieved by only three other batsmen – Gary Sobers against Malcolm Nash (Nottinghamshire vs Glamorgan in 1968), Ravi Shastri against Tilak Raj (Mumbai vs Baorda in 1985) and Herschelle Gibbs became the first batsman to do so in an international match. Gibbs hit Netherlands’ Dan Van Bunge for six sixes in an over in an One-Day International (ODI) in the ICC World Cup 2007.

Yuvraj got in an on-field confrontation with all-rounder Andrew Flintoff in an over earlier. An irked Yuvraj then unleashed his phenomenal firepower in the 19th over, bowled by Broad.
