Yuvraj Singh meets BJP president Amit Shah to discuss India’s cancer problem

Yuvraj Singh, who battled cancer, was reported to be campaigning for Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in the upcoming Haryana elections. However, according to a retweet from Yuvraj’s verified Twitter account, the meeting with BJP president Amit Shah was to discuss India’s cancer problem and what his foundation YOUWECAN  is doing.

Yuvraj is currently out of the Indian team across all formats, and missed the recently concluded tour to England. However, his contribution in the ICC World Cup 2011 is well remembered. Yuvraj was awarded man-of-the-series in that tournament, and was a key reason behind India lifting the trophy.
