Zimbabwean captain Elton Chigumbura won the toss and chose to bat first against Canada in their World Cup Group A match at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur on Monday.

Canada lost their first World Cup match to Sri Lanka at Hambantota by a huge margin of 210 runs on Feb 20, and Zimbabwe lost to Australia by 91 runs on Feb 21 at Ahmedabad.
