After a good start, Zimbabwe lost three quick wickets which have set them back in their first T20 International against Pakistan. Hamilton Masakadza had helped them get off to a very good start before Vusi Sibanda was dismissed by Mohammad Sami. Later, Sami got a wicket as he had Masakadza dragging one back onto his stumps. In came Charles Coventry and he announced himself with good boundaries. He paddled Shahid Afridi for a four and then hit Wahab Riaz for a four through the off-side. He was unlucky to get out as Riaz surprised him with a short ball. The ball took his shoulder and was taken by the wicketkeeper. The umpire gave it out got behind. Earlier, Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first on a good surface. Zimbabwe are being captained by Elton Chigumbura. Pakistan are being led by Shahid Afridi.
