Zulfiqar Babar became the second-oldest Pakistani cricketer to make his debut in One-Day International (ODI) cricket when he made his appearance in the first of the three ODIs against Australia at Sharjah on Tuesday. Babur will be 35 years and 301 days at the time of the debut.
While the record for the oldest player to make his debut in ODI cricket belongs to Nolan Clarke, who made his maiden appearance for Netherlands against New Zealand in the 1996 World Cup. Following is the list of the oldest Pakistani cricketers to have made their debut in One-Day cricket:
