Cricket matches in Australia have seen impersonators of Richie Benaud in the past, but on Thursday there were a number of Mitchell Johnsons in the stand. The paceman reached the milestone of 300 Test wickets after he picked up Jonny Bairstow and it was a typical Aussie tribute that few of the fans paid him when they disguised themselves as Johnson, sporting his trademark moustache and tattooed arms.

BBC’s Test Match Special tweeted the above picture which shows the Johnson impersonators grabbing beers and celebrating his 300th wicket. Johnson not only became the fifth Australian to enter the 300-wicket club but also the 18th cricketer to have the double of over 2000-runs and 200-wickets.
