Amid the controversy on the Dukes ball in the ongoing India vs England Test series, great English cricketer Alastair Cook slammed the players for continuously complaining about the ball.
Speaking about the topic, England’s great cricketer Alastair Cook has taken a brutal dig at the bowlers. “I just love how bowlers are always moaning. It’s like they bowl a bad ball and it’s never their fault. They’ve scraped the footmark… If they bowl a bad ball, they look at the ball and blame the shape,” he said while speaking on BBC News.
Cook did not take time and also spoke about the ball getting soft to be an issue for batters, and how no one likes to face a soft and an out-of-shape ball. “I think a batsman would much rather hit some slightly harder ball. Nothing worse than playing a lovely cover drive like I used to and it going nowhere,” he said.
