After losing their last match against India, here are the chances of Pakistan qualifying for the Super 4 stage in the Asia Cup 2025.

1 /1

After winning their second match, the Indian team is on top of Group A in the Asia Cup 2025. However, on the other hand, their archrivals, Pakistan, have two points from two games after losing their last match to Team India.

The Indian team defeated Pakistan by seven wickets to consolidate their top position in Group A of the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai on Sunday. However, while chasing the target of 128 runs, the Indian team completed the score in just 15.5 overs with more than half of their batting line-up to spare.

India’s win has taken them to the top of the group with four points from two matches. Pakistan are behind with two points from two games. Pakistan’s last group match is against UAE on September 17, while India will face Oman on September 19. Both UAE and Oman are still without any points.

Even though Pakistan lost to India, they still have a chance to reach the Super 4 stage. Salman Ali Agha’s team just needs to beat the UAE. A win will give them four points from three matches, which will be enough to secure their place in the Super Four.

If UAE manage to upset Pakistan, then Muhammad Waseem’s UAE side must also beat Oman to qualify. However, Pakistan can still go through even if they lose to UAE provided Oman defeat UAE in their match. In that situation, the second qualifier from Group A will be decided based on net run rate.
